The CATA Cosmetology Department would like to thank students, faculty and the community for making the Breast Cancer Fundraiser such a success. A percentage of the money that was raised will be donated to the Bosom Buddies Foundation, which is an organization that assists Cullman area residents while they are in a cancer treatment program. Ally placed 2nd in the nation at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia in the Action Skills Competition. As our Family Community Service Project, CATA students and faculty held a canned food drive for the month of April for Cullman Caring for Kids.
Cosmetology students received their CRI today in Customer Service and Sales along with a Barbicide Certification. A CRI is a credential made available to all students enrolled in a program where career and technical skill proficiencies are aligned with industry. Congratulations!
CATA Culinary Arts students had the opportunity to showcase their talents through a weather cake for the one and only, James Spann, he visited the Child Development Center today.

Ally Banks placed 1st in Action Skills with Tape-in Hair Extensions demonstration. Marian Braswell, Violet Riddle, and Nicole Defosse placed 1st in Class Project Display with Hair Hat Designs .
