Here's your March 2023 HHS Track schedule!
Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.

HHS Volleyball tryouts will be March 10. JV & varsity girls must have a current physical on file in order to try out. Registration is available through the QR code posted in the hallways or through the link posted in Coach Grochowalski's Google Classroom. Please note that March 6-9 is open practice in the high school gym from 3 to 5 PM and the official tryout date is March 10.

HHS Girls' Basketball tryouts will be held on February 27 and 28 in the Lane Horton High School Gymnasium. Please see Coach Watson for more details.

Season tickets are still available for HHS Softball games! Adults - $32/Students - $16. Student discounts will not be given at the gate on game days so students will need a season pass or pay full ticket price at the gate.

The HHS Leo Club and Hanceville Lions Club will be offering free vision screenings to our students on Wednesday, February 22nd.

Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. If storms are not in our area students should use this time to catch up on any school work or spend time practicing their reading. Thank you and please stay safe. - Shane Barnette
