Married to his soul mate Chrissie Lollar Miller for 25 years, Justin finds joy and strength in the love and support of his family. Together, Justin and Chrissie have raised a son who has followed in his father's footsteps of service and dedication. Their son, now 23 years old, serves as a Nuclear Electrician aboard the submarine USS Toledo in the United States Navy, embodying the family's commitment to duty and honor. Justin's journey towards success began with his graduation from Holly Pond High School in 1990. During his formative years, he honed his skills and work ethic through various endeavors, including his role as an Agriculture Research Technician at Auburn University's North Alabama Horticulture Research Experiment Station during the summers from 1986 to 1992. Continuing his education at Wallace State Community College from 1990 to 1992, Justin later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness Education from Auburn University in 1994. Armed with a solid academic foundation, Justin embarked on a career in education, serving as an Agriculture Teacher at Berry High School in Fayette County, Alabama, from 1994 to 1996. In 1997, Justin transitioned to Fairview High School, where he dedicated himself to educating and inspiring students as an Agriscience teacher for an impressive 25 years, until 2022. Throughout his tenure, Justin's passion for teaching and leadership shone brightly, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and students alike. In pursuit of further professional growth, Justin earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama in 2002, expanding his expertise and enhancing his ability to make a positive impact in the field of education. In 2022, Justin embarked on a new chapter in his career journey by initiating the Utility Line Worker Program at the Cullman Area Technology Academy, demonstrating his commitment to preparing students for careers in essential industries. Beyond his contributions to education, Justin has also ventured into entrepreneurship, with experiences ranging from offshore oil work to owning a boat house construction company. Additionally, he is the proud proprietor of Miller's Outdoor Sports and Gunsmithing, a testament to his diverse skill set and entrepreneurial spirit.
