Welcome

Alabama’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are the foundation for our state’s future. CTE focuses on developing the skills of 9-12 students and strives to prepare them for postsecondary learning and workforce opportunities. It also provides them essential leadership skills through participation in student organizations.

The Cullman Area Technology Academy (CATA) provides a work-based environment for the students of Cullman County. Through CTE programs, our goal is to prepare Cullman County graduates for their chosen career path.

Students can earn diplomas with CTE endorsements in one of the following career clusters: Business and Marketing, Building Systems Technology, Health and Human Services, Metals Technology and Drafting/Electronics.
